The most beautiful beaches on the Etruscan Coast
Around hu Park Albatros village, the Etruscan Coast combines long sandy beaches, shaded pine forests and small rocky coves. The six-kilometre Rimigliano beach is ideal for families, with free areas, useful facilities and accessible entrances. Opposite the village, you’ll also find CircaCirco, where you can hire sunbeds and parasols, enjoy food and drinks, and join activities and events.
In the Gulf of Baratti, dark sand meets clear, shallow water, while the nearby archaeological park reveals the fascinating history of Populonia. For a wilder setting, walk to the Buca delle Fate cove or discover the small bay of Calamoresca.
Further south, visit the long sandy beach at Sterpaia or Cala Violina, which can only be reached on foot, by bicycle or by sea. Daily access to Cala Violina is limited, so always check the latest booking requirements before setting off.
